The UIMC (International Union of Railway Medical Services) World Congress will be held in Luxemburg from 26-28 September 2018.
UIMC has been constituted as an autonomous special group to UIC in 1995. Members of the UIMC are organizations or railway companies that maintain a medical service.
The Annual Congress usually brings railway occupational physicians and railway occupational health services from all round the world together. Not only the world’s railways but also the entire field of transport health, including specialist areas, benefit from the scientific findings and statistical data established by the UIMC delegates.
DAY 1 – Wednesday 26 September The Congress will start in the afternoon with the Welcome Speeches followed by some scientific presentations.
DAY 2 – Thursday 28 September On the second day, there will be a technical visit to the Multimodal Fret Center in Bettembourg.
DAY 3 – Friday 29 September The third day will start by the Annual General Meeting in the morning and continues by the scientific presentations of our members
Representatives of other medical organizations, who are not members of UIMC, are cordially invited. Participation fee for non-members is 400 €.
