Sunday, October 28

During the day - Arrival of participants of conference and TEDP meeting at Riga International Airport; departure to the Grand Poet Hotel (or other hotel).

Types of transport to and from airport to hotel:

  1. Taxi : The taxi trip to the city center normally takes 15-20 min., price is approx. EUR 12,00-13,00 (Red Cab or Baltic Taxi);
  2. Transfer arranged by hotel Grand Poet (on request) – 20 eur;
  3. Public transport
    Bus No. 22 operates direct services between the Airport and Riga city centre. Costs 2,00 EUR; Services are also operated by minibuses No. 222 and No. 241
    .

Monday, October 29

TEDP first day will address the topic “How to attract new staff in a situation of growing competition and opening-up markets”

Conference venue: Multimedia Center Riga Technical University (RTU) in Ķīpsala, Āzenes Str. 12 from 9:00 to 15:00, including lunch.

There will be pick up from the Grand Poet Hotel to the conference venue (and back to the hotel) arranged (Shuttle service by LDz) – 8:30 a.m.

The evening after the conference, on 29 October at 19:00 the dinner will be organised (venue tbc), accordingly the shuttle from/to the hotel will be organised.

Tuesday, October 30

The second day will be dedicated to the work programme and activities of the TEDP

Venue technical visit: Technical visit in LDz Training center (participants of TEDP + LDz HR colleagues), Dzirnavu str.147/3, Riga (10 minutes walk from LDz HQ office)
