Each year a partner country of ILCAD hosts the International Level Crossing Awareness Day (ILCAD). The Croatian railway infrastructure manager (HZ INFRASTRUCTURE), together with the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, Zagreb and the International Union of Railways (UIC) are pleased to be co-hosting the 10th ILCAD international conference on June 7, 2018, in Zagreb, Croatia.
This event attracts railway industry representatives, road authorities, academics, and many others from around the world who are working to raise awareness about the dangers surrounding level crossings. It will launch the annual worldwide level crossing safety campaign. ILCAD 2017 brought together over 40 countries to participate in this global event, either by posting it on their websites or on social media, or by organizing a range of activities around ILCAD day.
